Laurions Song – Live

New Year – New Raids

Laurions song launched in December pretty smoothly without problems (well, apart from the colossal crap of personas), and following up in January came the first two raids.I benched for the first one, so here is a screenshot from when we tested it in beta (and I didn’t post about it).

A pretty “classic” type of event arena thing set in the sand elves city, not too hard but reasonably different to be interesting.

And the second raid – slap the hand in mischief, I kinda had my hands full, so grabbing screenshots was a tad difficult, but I got a couple and augmented again, with some from beta.

Its one that takes a bit of getting used to, but will no doubt be easy down the line, and of course we beat both the first day trying.

and that’s about it.

LauriOns Song – Beta

Tier 3 – Final Fugue

Beta is back again, and into the deep-end we go.

Once again, assisting the intrepid Ngreth

We were tasked with taking a look at the Final Fugue, to test its abilities and see how many times we could leash the boss.

Not an overly complex event, but certainly one to pay attention on

The brief glimpse we had, shows promise to be a good expansion, lets see how much I hate it in a years time.

edit : Congratulations on Purrfection for pointing out the misspelling of Laurions Song on the page title, its been here months and no one else noticed.

Night of Shadows – Achievements

Night of Shadows and the art of prolonging the interest.

After “some” months of trying to get the odd achievements that are not instantly granted on winning a raid in the standard way, Age of Unity finally ticked off the last box – “Pit fight – Stay close”.

A slightly more difficult than average achievement for a couple of reasons,

One being you have to bunch up in the majority (which is an alien concept to many raiders) and suffer the effects of whichever dumb bosses aura you are fighting in, while avoiding the ae death from above rainbow of shit from killing you during the first one.

The other reason being the rainbow of shit avoiding has an achievement in itself, which AOU tried many times to get before attempting this last one, less said about that whole dollop of playing the better.

Due to this raid being pretty boring visually, my enthusiasm on taking any screenshots for the news was lacking, and i’ve already posted screenshots of this event anyway.

However knowing that we will have to repeat this achievement for those members who were not online that night (or benched, or just afk) gives me reason to post a pic of Sarryn (who wasn’t online) looking into the cave where this event takes place, whatever goes on in this cave is subject to much speculation in the guild, and Ouklaol wasnt online either.

So, that is probably it for now, until the next expansion.
