The Prince got Punished

After finally obtaining enough flags to see this event during the Xmas holidays, we returned to proper scheduled raiding on Jan 2nd 2017 with a more than capable raid force

From our initial encounter of the event with a inspection team just after Xmas we learned the basics and knew it wouldn’t take long to beat.

First attempt with the D’Pikey Army proved successful, and the Prince went down like he would have in classic Kunark.

After the Prince’s loot chest was plundered, we took the equally difficult journey across the zone to find the next target.

I was warned this event was all kinds of “Special”, and it proved to be so, however, we have a idea how it ticks, just need to stop its clock and push the Pikey floor show to the next event !

Empires of Kunark – And So It Begins !

We were told there are two raids to start this expansion with; a easy one, and a hard one.

So we started obviously with the harder one, and at first, it was a challenge, but a couple of days to learn the event was all it took.

Although I hesitate to say its on the farm list, we need to redo it many times for flagging

After giving a great big dragon a well deserved hug for reminding us what DKP stands for, we rounded off the night, and took a reduced raidforce to look at Droga

Even though it was almost midnight, we came close to beating it on our first attempt !, I guess it really is the easier raid.

Expect to see this rather lackluster event beaten very soon, and added to the rotation

Yeh we beat the Goblin event as expected, but im not doing another news update for that shitty raid.

The team has been working hard this year to manage the ongoing progression and event server updates, big server-side updates to improve stability, as well as toiling away on our new content-focused expansion this November. Speaking of the expansion…

While we are still in the throes of development, we are thrilled to announce we are returning to a much-loved continent of Norrath! Prepare for EverQuest: Empires of Kunark! We’ve got a new look for Sarnaks (perhaps an illusion for some?!), new zones like Scorched Woods, Chardok: War March, Lceanium, Droga, Kor’Sha, new monsters, armor, weapons, items and more!

It’s been many years since we’ve set our eyes on Kunark and there are many stories to discover. At the beginning of October, look for announcements regarding expansion features, for pre-orders to become available, and news about when you can join us in the beta. The launch of EverQuest: Empires of Kunark is scheduled for November.

Also on the horizon, we’ll be unlocking Luclin on Phinigel server on September 28th 2PM PDT.  Ragefire and Lockjaw also have some expansion votes coming in October and November.

As we start cooling down for fall and prepare for EverQuest: Empires of Kunark, we’ve got a few promotions for you too:
•This weekend we kick off a 40% off sale for members from September 1st 12PM PDT through September 6th 12PM PDT as well as Double Experience for everyone!
•Starting this weekend, EverQuest: The Broken Mirror will be on sale at 50% off September 1st 12PM PDT through October 5th 12PM PDT. Note that option to purchase the Collector’s or Premium Edition of EverQuest: The Broken Mirror won’t be available after pre-orders for EverQuest: Empires of Kunark begin in October.
