Another Month, another raid beaten

So, Silverwing and Xygoz, the hardest raid of the expansion,

One of the hardest expansions so far as current

A lot of learning, deaths, PC issues / ragequits, and retirements, all the lovely stuff that goes on with a brutal raid.

The mechanics for this raid are really not nice, not so much jumping through hoops on emotes, more of jump away from dragons before they AE you!.   Can we go back to not needing half the guild to use stupid third party programs to beat raids please (I don’t have a sandy GINA, but I know a man who does)

After collating ideas and strats for how we came about to beat this (You might have to enlarge the image to read super secret stuff)

We all came to the same conclusion about this event.

But finally, the real key to winning was accidentally discovered by Sarryn a few weeks ago, long story short, get stuck in the cat box, and the entire dev notes for the raid are written on a wall there for anyone to read !!

A lot can happen in a Month

Last week, I considered doing a news update to say we were in Veeshans Peak, and learning the first event, and earlier today I told myself win or lose I will post tonight (6th August).

It was only 1 month ago that we created Age of Unity, and the hardest part of raiding now is having too many players, but we are managing.

but onto what happened today with the raid, we won !, and in due course, I need to get out the George Formby Gif

Turned out nice again !

Veeshans Peak – Hoshkar

The easy one of the VP raids, starts with this guy

And we have these people

But, its this guy who matters

An interesting raid with elements of another familiar dragon event , after the monotony of Sathiers Tomb this was quite enjoyable to learn and understand.

Hardly any corpses on show, nicely done

End of the line, for The Sathir Line

After months and months of headbanging at Drusellas Vault, it was welcome relief to see something new

– The Sathir Line –

A “relatively simple” event that only requires all the dps possible, AND little to no emote fails.

From our initial look at the raid after beating vault2 earlier in the Month,  it was obvious that we wouldn’t be stuck on it too long, so after a couple of weeks of what could become a customary series of near wins and deliberate wipes the Sathir line was crossed !

Just need to catch up some flagging now, then Veeshans Peak V6 awaits
