The Prince got Punished

After finally obtaining enough flags to see this event during the Xmas holidays, we returned to proper scheduled raiding on Jan 2nd 2017 with a more than capable raid force

From our initial encounter of the event with a inspection team just after Xmas we learned the basics and knew it wouldn’t take long to beat.

First attempt with the D’Pikey Army proved successful, and the Prince went down like he would have in classic Kunark.

After the Prince’s loot chest was plundered, we took the equally difficult journey across the zone to find the next target.

I was warned this event was all kinds of “Special”, and it proved to be so, however, we have a idea how it ticks, just need to stop its clock and push the Pikey floor show to the next event !

 

Empires of Kunark – And So It Begins !

We were told there are two raids to start this expansion with; a easy one, and a hard one.

So we started obviously with the harder one, and at first, it was a challenge, but a couple of days to learn the event was all it took.

Although I hesitate to say its on the farm list, we need to redo it many times for flagging

After giving a great big dragon a well deserved hug for reminding us what DKP stands for, we rounded off the night, and took a reduced raidforce to look at Droga

Even though it was almost midnight, we came close to beating it on our first attempt !, I guess it really is the easier raid.

Expect to see this rather lackluster event beaten very soon, and added to the rotation

Yeh we beat the Goblin event as expected, but im not doing another news update for that shitty raid.

Also, I managed to be dead on the win, so your picture for it is “unusual”…

Strong to the Core

Since “beating” the expansion several months ago, and with nothing more to do other than farm raids until the next expansion,

D’Pikeys like many similar guilds turned their attention towards Achievements.

Many achievements came to us very easy, several you have to work at to not obtain them !

We crossed them off one by one,  until eventually a few weeks ago, we were down to three more difficult targets.

Akkapan Fast – Uncursed! – Strong to the Core

The Mouse and Anashti gave up their achievements after a few attempts, which left one.

Tonight marked the server first winning of the last of these – Strong to the Core.

I was told that it was virtually impossible, but it only took 6 million DPS from our Raidforce.

So eventually, our achievements looked like this

     

Beating this gave us the final piece of the puzzle to gain a pretty decent augment.

I guess the strong will only get stronger.

And I guess we look forward to doing all the achievements again for the unfortunate guildmembers who missed any.
